Spy is a social deduction game. Every player secretly receives the same word — except one, the spy, who gets nothing and has no idea what the word is. How to play: step by step
1. Deal the word. Every player secretly sees the same secret word — except the spy, who is told they're the spy. 2. Ask and answer. Players take turns asking each other questions about the word, or giving a one-word clue. Answers must be vague enough not to reveal the word, but specific enough to prove you're not the spy. 3. Watch and suspect. Everyone listens for answers that are too vague (a spy bluffing) or too obvious (a player giving it away). 4. Vote. After a few rounds, everyone votes for who they think the spy is. 5. The reveal. If the group votes out the spy, they win — unless the spy can still guess the secret word. If they vote out an innocent player, the spy wins.
